Are you local?

Since we are active in the local Portland community, we get this question a lot.

The answer is "yes and no".

• Yes, we are an independent small business, and fully owned by Portlanders. The owner is an Oregon native and as a business we value sustainability, diversity in business, and the entrepreneurial spirit.
• No, we do not source only from the local area. Many of our vendors are not located in Portland (although all our core vendors are located in the US).

Our vendors are world-class. That is why we chose them.

Any web hosting product that you buy is made up of many things: the service, the software, the servers, and the business that you support with your purchase.

Ultimately our choices of vendors were not made based on location. We went for best-of-class facilities and people. After doing extensive research, we couldn't overlook the benefits of the vendors we chose, even when they were located outside of our local region.
